During the International symposium organized by association, a world advertisement was carried out by Dr. José-Shine Millan at the scientific community : laboratory ENOBIA in collaboration with many teams of scientists works with the development of an enzyme transformed alkaline phosphatase.
Let us recall that it is this enzyme which is in the middle of our disease and which dysfonctionne.
Very good performances on the mice (begun again growth, remineralisation of the bones…) let predict that it is about a very good track towards a therapy for the hypophosphatasy.

The countdown is launched for the 1st test of therapy on the man against the hypophosphatasy during the summer 2008! |
To support the researchers, to be able to be informed and to possibly take part at the proper time in the project, it is CAPITAL that ALL the PATIENTS who pass on the site register here!

The researchers will need to contact many patients to set up final them protocle. Each one will be free to accept or not to take part at the proper time.

After 3 years of existence, association will organize from the 16 to May 19, 2007, a world meeting with the largest specialists in the disease.
That made 15 years that the scientists had not met to give a progress report on Hypophosphatasie.
Prof Jose Jose-Luis MILLAN (Specialist in alkaline phosphatase, Burnham Institute/California the USA) and Dr. Etienne MORNET (Geneticist, deputy manager of laboratory SESEP of Versailles), both members of our scientific committee agreed to work at the sides of association for the organization of this exceptional meeting. |
